The Pirates Tavern is the clubroom of the Williamstown Maritime Associations members and guests, and is also open to the general public. It has a wonderful ambience and maritime flavour, and is one of Melbourne’s hidden gems.

The Tavern is a licensed venue, and to comply with liquor licensing laws all non-members of the WMA must sign the temporary register located inside the front entrance and at the Bar.

If you attend the Tavern on a regular basis you may like to consider joining the WMA. Proceeds from the Tavern go back into the site, so by patronising the Tavern you are helping the Seaworks vision become a reality.

The Tavern is family-oriented, with children welcome. It’s a great place to relax and watch the ever-changing scenery of ships coming and going from the Port of Melbourne. The Tavern is renowned for its live music, with bands performing every Friday night and Sunday.
