If you are thinking of having a function, our Tavern Manager can assist with all aspects of planning. The Pirates Tavern can offer a range of catering packages to suit all tastes. On the other hand, feel free to arrange your own catering, for which a small charge of $5.00 per head applies.

The Pirates Tavern Function Pack has all the information on hiring the venue, menus, and terms and conditions. All enquiries and bookings should be directed to Tavern Manager Wendy Pelns (0403 702 734). Early bookings are essential as our calendar for the year fills up quickly. Some functions require security, contact the Tavern Manager.
The Pirates Tavern is unique! On the waterfront in Williamstown, built by volunteers from the WMA, the Tavern is friendly, casual and comfortable. It has amazing maritime artefacts and photos, regular Friday music nights and Sunday afternoons with well-known performers, and a great range of events throughout the year, suitable for everyone.
The Tavern is cosy in winter with a roaring log fire, and cool in summer with breezes off the water. It’s fantastic for private events, receptions, birthdays, weddings, corporate functions or Christmas breakups. Tea and coffee is available as well as cold beverages, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
